Terms and conditions

  • Dinner2go opening and delivery times Monday - Saturday 11:00am - 11:00pm, Sundays and Bank Holidays 12:00 noon - 10:30pm


  • Each restaurant operates at certain hours. These times can be found on their menu. No orders can be delivered outside restaurants opening hours. Restaurant holiday hours may vary.


  • Customers placing orders for the first time will automatically be required to register by the call operator. All customer details will be stored electronically to help to facilitate future order placements efficiently without the need for a new registration process. We are bound by the Data Protection act and no information will be passed on or sold to a third party, except where customers have ordered a DVD and have failed to return it at the required time. VIDEOBOX (the DVD providers) reserve the right to pursue any outstanding fees and the safe return of their goods from the customer (the hirer).


  • Please allow a maximum of 45 . 60 minutes for normal delivery times. At peak times and for large orders requiring longer preparation, or of unusually large size, during busy periods and / or requiring more than one stop by the delivery driver may / will take longer. No exceptions.


  • During busy periods, restaurants may choose not to accept orders for deliveries, customers will be informed before or after placing orders. Advance orders however may be taken for delivery during kitchen hours. Orders placed at busy restaurant periods will take longer to prepare which will/may affect delivery times.


  • It is advisable when ordering for an office lunch to place your orders early to avoid lunch time disappointment.


  • By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that Dinner2go delivers food, beverages and other items obtained from third parties for and on behalf of the customer, and that Dinner2go is solely a delivery agent only.


  • Accordingly, Dinner2go accepts no responsibility / liability whatsoever for the quality, quantity or content of any meals or goods delivered. Due to health and safety issues Dinner2go drivers can not and are not permitted to open and check packaging to confirm items or content, therefore restaurants take full responsibility for all incorrectly sent orders.


  • Please check your order thoroughly before accepting it, as it will be difficult to rectify mistakes later, Dinner2go takes no responsibility for missing items from restaurants.


  • For concerns regarding nut allergies or any other form of food allergy Dinner2go strongly advises its customers to contact the restaurant direct for advice and information regarding content and ingredients before placing their order with Dinner2go.


  • For complaints regarding quality of food supplied by a restaurant, customers are advised to contact the restaurant concerned direct, Dinner2go is only a delivery service agent and although we may take up a complaint on behalf of the customer we do not, however, offer compensation or replacements in such events.


  • Dinner2go operates a no refund and a zero tolerance policy.


  • Alcohol, cigarettes and age restricted DVDs are not for sale to minors under the age of 18 and 16 respectively. Orders placed by minors containing these items will not be accepted by the call operator without verification. Dinner2go drivers reserve the right to ask for proof of identity at any time before signing over a delivery containing these items. Dinner2go supports the responsible drinking campaign.


  • Dinner2go works in association with VIDEOBOX. DVD returns are the sole responsibility of the customer. Late returns of DVDs to VIDEOBOX outlets outside the specified time will incur late penalty charges and VIDEOBOX will make every effort to recover the costs directly from the customer.


  • We reserve the right not to deliver:


  • - Outside Dinner2go delivery times
    - Outside Dinner2go.s main delivery zone
    - In dangerous driving conditions
    - To unregistered addresses and customers
    - To minors ordering alcohol, cigarettes or DVDs with age restrictions
    - To customers in public establishments, where that establishment is not a registered delivery address
    - To a registered banned customer or addresses
  • Assaults on our drivers, their vehicles, their belongings or Dinner2go properties will be reported to the authorities and where possible charges will be brought against the offender


  • Minimum order required is £10 (not including a delivery charge)


  • Collection from the first two restaurants incurs a single delivery charge. Collections from each restaurant thereafter will incur an extra 85 pence delivery charge per restaurant.


  • Orders placed from a Waterfront, Brighton Marina restaurant will incur a 85 pence extra delivery charge above and on all other charges.


  • All restaurant prices are inclusive of VAT. Prices are subject to change and all food is subject to availability.


  • Restaurants reserve the right to change their menu and prices anytime throughout the year without prior notice.


  • All other prices and availability are subject to change without prior notice.


  • Please refer to the Dinner2go website for all restaurant menu changes and updates


  • Cash payments are our primary preferred form of payment, however, where this is not possible, Major credit card will be accepted (a 3% handling charge will be added to all debit/credit cards payments.)


  • We do not accept cheques or American Express card.
